I Hope Santa Spoils You Rotten

Penny Black Santa's Helper,
Sugar Pea Designs Here Comes Santa (sentiment)

Hello!  I'm here today to share a Christmas card, my one and only that I've made so far.   I'm having a late start this year and now panicking as there's only a few more days left to meet the USPS holiday shipping deadline, yikes!  I think I'll need to find a design that I can mass produce quickly!

I stamped this sweet Penny Black image on Bristol Vellum paper, colored him with Marvy (watercolor) LePlume markers and then added Star Dust Stickles to his Santa hat.   For the background, I used Darice's Diagonal Stripe Embossing Folder.

I'll be sharing my CAS card with these challenges:  Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Gift It; Penny Black and More Challenge, December CAS; and  Penny Black Saturday Challenge, Winter or Christmas.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by to visit, I really appreciate it!   Hope you're having a fabulous week!

Party Like a Pirate

Hello, hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Today I'm sharing the card I made for my grandson's birthday.  I wanted a card with pirates sailing the ocean blue so went looking for a pirate ship cutting file.   From the two that I found, one from Miss Kate Cuttables and the other from Etsy, Mama's Controlled Chaos, I was able to make a ship that would accommodate these pirates by using pieces from both cutting files.

My supplies were all from MFT:  Party Like a Pirate stamp, Ocean Waves Die-namics and the Cloud stencil.  The pirates were colored with copic markers and everything was cut out with my ScanNCut 2.

I'll be sharing this with the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes.

Thanks so much for looking!

Christmas Tag

Hello and welcome!

There are several Christmas tag challenges going on right now and after seeing so many beautiful tags, I was inspired make a few, too.  This one was made with stamps from Sugar Pea Designs "Here Comes Santa" and Cas-ual Fridays "Naughty or Nice".  Santa was colored with copic markers.

I'll be linking to these challenges:  Sugar Pea Mix it Up Challenge #37; Simon Says Stamp Challenge, Christmas Gift Tag; Happy Little Stampers November Christmas Challenge Anything Goes/Optional Twist-Tag; and CASology Week 273, List

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great week!

Halloween Treat Boxes

Hello!  Are you ready for Halloween?   I'm excited because of the grandkids.  So fun to see them dressed up and so excited.  It's a fun night for everyone, I read that Halloween spending this year is expected to reach a record $9.1 billion!

Made these Halloween treat boxes for my grandsons.  Used the Spooky Dracula and Franky cutting files from My Scrap Chick, and the Spooky and Scary Titles from Miss Kate Cuttables.   I'm enjoying my ScanNCut machine more and more.

Note:  I changed the original design of Frankie's box to be the same height as Dracula to eliminate any chance of a "discussion" over who gets the bigger (taller) box.  :)

I'll be sharing with some Halloween challenges:

Thanks for stopping by and have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Have a Boo-tiful Day!

Hello and Happy World Card Making Day!   I'm happy that I also have a card to share with you today.

I used the images from MFT Party Like a Pirate, the sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Monster Mash, and some Halloween sequins and stickers.  The black and orange cardstocks were cut with MFT Blueprints 26 Die-namics and the pirates were colored with copics and cut out with the ScanNCut machine.  I was so happy I was able to cut them out perfectly without the white border around the images.  :)

Thanks for stopping by and have fun making cards today!

Define Naughty

The challenge at the Allsorts Challenge Blog this week is Sentiment in Focus and it inspired me to use the Santa Silhouette QuicKutz die that I've had for years.  I searched through all my Christmas sentiments and found two that I thought might describe her plea.

The sentiments I used are stamps from Cas-ual Fridays Stamp Naughty or Nice and Studio G.  The dies are the Memory Box Small Madison Window and Hero Arts Phrase Bubbles.  The background was ink distressed.

I'll also be linking to these challenges:  Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes and Always Fun Challenges #26, Dies or Punches.

Thank you for looking and wishing you a wonderful week!
