Sprinkled with Stardust

Altenew Majestic Bloom Stamp & Die; Penny Black Sprinkles and Smiles sentiment;
Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die; Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers

Hello and thank you for stopping by!

For this card, I used the Altenew stamp and die set, Majestic Bloom.   Instead of stamping the flower and leaves in colored layers, I heat embossed the outline images in gold and watercolored them with Zig markers.  With a gold layout in mind, I used gold cardstock (Bazzill Gold Leaf) for my mat, embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder (Wow Gold Rich Pale) and glued a few gold sequins onto the Wonky Stitches frame.

Here are some challenges I'll be linking to:
Happy Little Stampers October - Anything Goes With Dies Challenge
The Flower Challenge - Anything Goes with Florals
Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes This Time
Addicted to CAS, Challenge 98 - Watercolour

Happy Haunting

Simon Says Stamp "Only Have Eyes For You";  Inkadinkado stamp "Halloween" sentiment;
Lawn Fawn "A Birdie Told Me" die; Distress Inks; Copic Markers

My inspiration for this card came from the card challenge below and a technique that I recently learned from Jennifer McGuire--"how to create a backdrop for a stamped image".  I positioned my stamp in the Misti stamping tool and then I repeatedly stamped the spiderweb by moving my card front (not the stamp) slightly downward each time.   Before I did that, however, I masked off the sides with masking tape and ink distressed the area with Distress Inks.  I fussy cut my image to give it some dimension.

I'll be linking my card to the following challenges:

I really appreciate your visit.   Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Boo!

Lawn Fawn dies - Milk Carton and A Birdie Told Me;  Tiddly Inks digital image Monstrous Party;
Inkadinkado Halloween stamp sentiment; MFT die - Stitched Circle Stax;
Martha Stewart - Fence punch;  Copic Markers;  Prismacolor Pencils

I was inspired to start my Halloween favors early this year after seeing all the cute Halloween products being sold at the stores.  The fun Halloween things you see in the picture are rings that light up when pressed.  My grandsons love anything that lights up but here's to hoping they won't just tear open their milk cartons just to get whats inside.   Grandma can only hope, lol.

Welcome Little One

Jane's Doodles Special Delivery (images); Simon Says Stamp Cuddly Critters Accessories (sentiment);
QuickKutz Santa's Workshop (frame die);  Memory Box Puffy Clouds

I made another baby card, this time for a boy.  I guess I could have just made a gender-neutral card and colored this in typical yellow but I wanted a definite baby girl or baby boy card to give to my nephew and niece-in-law.   The cute little images from Jane's Doodles were colored with copic markers and the word "baby" and the heart (which by the way is blue and not black as it appears) are similar to sequin embellishments.

Thanks so much for looking, I really appreciate your taking the time to visit!

Welcome Baby

Penny Black An Angel Among Us;  Stampin' Up Welcome Baby sentiment
Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Squares dies; Copic Markers

My nephew and his wife are expecting the birth of their second child in a few weeks.  They are choosing not to know their baby's sex before birth so I thought I'd be prepared by having baby cards for both genders ready in advance of the happy news.

I'll be linking my card to these challenges:  Penny Black September Challenge--Add a Sentiment;
Allsorts Challenge Blog--Week 380, Anniversaries and Special Occasions.

Thanks so much for visiting, I really appreciate it!

Have a Great Birthday!

Clearly Besotted Full Steam Ahead stamp & die train set; Your Next Stamp Balloon Buddies,
Memory Box Puffy Clouds, Chameleon and Copic markers, Core'dinations cardstock

I had a lot of fun making this card for my grandson.  He'll be turning three next month.  Surprisingly I made my card way in advance for a change--I'm usually making my card the day before the event lol.

I'll be linking this card to a couple of challenges:  Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #47,  and Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!
